Boolarra Old Mill Site and Forest Rehabilitation, Stage 2

Connectivity, biodiversity, carbon sequestering and access will improve. Included in these activities will be track surveying, excavating tracks, widening 3.4km existing tracks to allow access by wheelchairs, less damage to environment, build small bridge, install drainage, surface track using crushed rock. Revegetate areas of forest to encourage biodiversity for flora and fauna species and habitat. Wildlife camera monitoring and data collection, scat collection. Weed control manual or chemical where necessary, Plant identification, collect native seeds to be grown out and used in the Forest. Experienced group members and experts will assist. The projects will be delivered by a series of field days, workshops, working bees contributing to successful achievement.
