<i>Bacillus subtilis</i> is an important biotechnology workhorse, but many undomesticated <i>Bacillus subtilis</i> strains exist, and research on these strains are uncovering hitherto unknown facets into their cell biology, metabolism, and physiology. This dataset comprises pictures of <i>B. subtilis</i> NRS-762 in pure culture format on different agar media, including an in-house formulated colourless agar medium. Incubation conditions were 30 <sup>o</sup>C for variable period of time depending on experiment need.
