Supplementary material for An HPLC-UV Method for Identification, Assay, and Impurities Analyses of Boronic Acids

A robust HPLC-UV method, for identification, assay, and impurities analyses of 4-methoxy-phenyl boronic acid, was developed and validated. There are three advantages for the method: 1) sharing one test sequence and similar sample preparation for all three tests, 2) achieving baseline separation of boronic acid and related impurities, and 3) it is a robust and quality control friendly HPLC-UV method. A similar method was used to analyze the ID, assay, and impurities of a boronic acid, an intermediate of a drug substance used in late phase clinical trials.
