Aggregate data at the level of the 328 districts according to the
territory status of the Federal Republic in 1987. Topics: Structural
characterization of the district area: population density; age
structure of the male and of the entire residential population;
religious affiliation; number of exiles; households; residences and
condominiums; commuters; employed persons as well as male employed
persons; structure of employed persons according to self-employed
family members assisting, civil servants, employees and workers;
employed persons according to area of business; places of work and
total number of employees as well as male employees according to area
of business; companies in agriculture and forestry; tax revenue as well
as revenue from property tax and employment tax. As of 1961: detailed
age structure; exiled East Germans; foreigners; marital status;
single-person households and multiple-person households; pensioners and
retirees. As of 1970: secondary residence; school degree; currently
attending an educational facility; apprentices according to area of
business and sex; size of place of work according to number of
employees; indebtedness of the municipality; income tax revenue; number
of persons capable of employment. The following additional data were
collected in 1987: employed foreigners; unemployed as well as foreign
unemployed; detailed size of private households as well as foreign
private households according to number of persons.
