Deutschlandatlas childcare key in children’s day care facilities

Data from https://www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de : Places in children’s day facilities per pedagogical person in 2021. Daycare facilities include crib, kindergarten and Hort. The childcare key indicates how many children are cared for by a caregiver, on average between 8 and 9 children. In West German federal states one child is also more common, in East German federal states one child more per caregiver.
