Solar Wind data set

The solar wind data set is based on a list of THEMIS B data provided by Thilo Glißmann that he compiled for his Master's thesis at our institute at TU Braunschweig in 2023.From this list, only the intervals where THEMIS B was in the pristine solar wind were selected. This second list of five minute intervals was then used to pick 1000 random entries from. The THEMIS B data can be retrieved fromhttps://themis.ssl.berkeley.edu/data/themis/thb/(last accessed on June 13th 2025) THEMIS B FGM data of FGL type in GSE coordinates were used with a data rate of 4 Hz.
