资源简介:
Hybrid sturgeon, an ancient fish, has great economic and nutritional value as a source of caviar. Although significant differences exist in the female reproductive capacity under artificial breeding conditions, differential gene expression associated to domesticated female reproductive capacity have never been investigated. In this study, we conducted reference genome-based transcriptome sequencing of 16 individuals from high-yield (H) and low-yield (L) populations, respectively. Overall design: Two sturgeon populations located in the Hulan Farming Base, Chinese Academy of Aquatic Sciences (Harbin, China) were selected in the present experiment. One is ranked to high yield group (H) , the other is ranked to the low yield group (L).Only eight female adult individuals in each group were euthanized and removed the ovary tissue quickly.
