United Nations General Assembly Resolutions: Voting Data and Issue Categories

The dataset contains all resolutions of the United Nations between session 49 (1995/1996) and 79 (2024/2025) until January 2025 as well as newly developed issue categories that allow for in-depth analysis of voting patterns in the United Nations General Assembly.
The issue categories are based on the subjects used by the UN. Metadata for each resolution, such as information on the authorship, as well as corresponding draft resolutions were collected through webscraping and subsequently cleaned from the UN Digital Library website.

本数据集涵盖联合国大会第49届（1995/1996年度）至第79届（2024/2025年度）截至2025年1月的全部决议，以及专为深入分析联合国大会投票模式而全新构建的议题分类体系。该议题分类体系以联合国官方使用的议题主题为构建依据。本数据集通过网络爬虫技术从联合国数字图书馆网站采集了每项决议的元数据（含提案方信息等）以及对应的决议草案，并完成了后续数据清洗工作。
