Charcoal recovered from a burial at the Hardtrigger Creek Burial (Site 10OE5968) in
southwestern Idaho was identified prior to submission for radiocarbon dating. Three types of
charcoal were recovered. A basketry fragment from the Manning Site in southwest Idaho also was
sent for identification to determine the materials used in construction of the basket.
