Capital use matrices

This dataset provides capital-use matrices (Kbar) for endogenizing capital goods in multi-regional input-output (MRIO) analysis, in product-by-product (pxp) classification. It updates the previous record at https://zenodo.org/records/7073276 and is compiled from EXIOBASE v3.10.2. The matrices describe the total use of capital goods by industries in million euros (MEur), covering the period 1995 to 2022. Results for 1995 to 2019 are relatively more reliable. Data for 2020 to 2022 are subject to greater uncertainty due to underlying data quality limitations in the source tables and should be used with caution. The compilation procedure partially follows the methodology described in the references below. An updated methodological description is currently under peer review.
