Ecosystem services Vulnerability Index: A novel framework to assess the vulnerability of species delivering ES (Supplementary Information)

Ecosystem Services Vulnerability Index (ESVI) has been developed to assess the vulnerability of wetland plants known to provide ecosystem services of economic importance. Data on plant distribution, ecosystem services, habitat characteristics, and lifecycle have been compiled through various databases, including the India Biodiversity Portal, the Global Biodiversity Information Facility, and from literature, including the book on aquatic plants of India. After that, through a literature review and database surveys, 272 of the species were found to provide ecosystem services of economic importance, which were compiled in this dataset.
