International comparative study about the image of Germany of the Danes, French, Greeks, British, Italians, Dutch, Swedes and Americans. Topics: Sources of knowledge about the Federal Republic of Germany and reasons for lack of knowledge; interest in information about the FRG; judgement on the mutual relations with 9 selected countries of the world; changes in judgement regarding the FRG and comparison of attitudes to West Germany and East Germany (GDR); attitude to reunification of Germany; assessment of West Germany as a military power and judgement on economic and social security as well as protection of human rights in the 9 countries; image of reality and image of the media of the residents of West Germany. The following question was also posed in Greece: influence on Greek-German relations of the request for extradition of a terrorist.
