Rectangular Column Database

This database is provided by extending the one presented by Ghannoum et al. (2015) entitled “NEES: ACI 369 Rectangular Column Database”, which can be found on https://datacenterhub.org/resources/255. In this extended version, two new terms including the yield drift ratio and the displacement ductility demand are added to the original database through available technical reports, articles, and dissertations in the literature, since the latter parameter plays a key role in estimating the shear strength of reinforced concrete columns. This database provides wide range of information about 325 tested rectangular columns including geometry details of columns’ sections, mechanical properties of concrete and reinforcing steel, configuration of transverse and longitudinal reinforcements, loading patterns, and the measured results that can be employed by researchers to conduct numerical studies in the context of structural/earthquake engineering.
