These data are counts by Jeff Goddard of heterobranch molluscs (sea slugs and allies) from three rocky intertidal sites near Jalama Beach County Park on the mainland coast of Santa Barbara County, California. Data collection was conducted once in 1998 and 15 times from 2009 to 2024, mainly at Tarantula Reef. Data include counts of individuals of 45 total species, presence/absence of their egg masses, and search time (as observer hours) for each sampling trip.
