Data and R Code Supporting "A Bayesian and E-Bayesian Framework for Estimating the Parameters of the Inverse Gaussian Distribution"

This record contains the dataset and supporting R code associated with the manuscript “A Bayesian and E-Bayesian Framework for Estimating the Parameters of the Inverse Gaussian Distribution.” The dataset contains 25 runoff observations from Jug Bridge, Maryland, used for the real-data illustration. The accompanying R files provide implementations of Bayesian and E-Bayesian estimation for the Inverse Gaussian distribution, including estimation under squared error, weighted squared error, and precautionary loss functions, posterior-risk calculations, credible intervals, and a simulation framework.
