Brazil: number of car thefts 2007-2018

The number of vehicle thefts registered in Brazil has been oscillating recently. In 2018, approximately 247.15 thousand car thefts were reported in the South American country, down from nearly 280.4 thousand cases recorded a year earlier.Still, vehicle thefts have been more frequent than car break-ins in Brazil lately.

近年来，巴西登记的车辆盗窃案件数量波动不定。2018年，南美洲国家报告了约24.715万起汽车盗窃案，较之前一年记录的近28.04万起有所下降。然而，近期车辆盗窃在巴西的发生频率仍高于汽车盗窃事件。
