Data from: Universal Casimir attraction between filaments at the cell scale

This repository provides data underlying the figures in the manuscript titled 'Universal Casimir attraction between filaments at the cell scale'.

The figure data is given in the CSV-format and the data files are named after the respective figures. The header in those files describes the data provided in each column.

The data underlying Fig. 9 can be simply derived from the data set of Fig. 8 by division.

Additionally, supplementary data for the molecular dynamics simulations using the shorter timestep of 1fs as described in the manuscript. This data is provided in the subfolder 'supplementary_data' and the letters 'T' and 'L' in the filenames stand for transverse and longitudinal susceptibility, respectively.

The data for the Casimir interaction between cylinders was calculated using the freely available code on https://github.com/sprengjamin/CasCy (see examples).
