Post-Processed INTERPSONDE-ARM datasets for Manus-TWP site
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises vertically interpolated atmospheric profiles collected at the ARM Tropical Western Pacific (TWP) Manus site from 2000 to 2014. It includes high-resolution measurements of pressure, temperature, and humidity derived from radiosonde and microwave radiometer observations, with all profiles processed to ensure consistent vertical interpolation and subsequently converted to hourly resolution. As part of the quality-control procedure, anomalous or erroneous temperature and humidity values were masked or corrected by comparing them with corresponding surface measurements or other available reference data. This long-term, quality-controlled dataset provides a reliable resource for examining tropical atmospheric processes, such as moist static energy variability, diurnal cycles, convection, and large-scale climate interactions affecting the Maritime Continent region and is well-suited for studies requiring continuous vertical structure information, model evaluation, and climate process analysis.
