Supplementary Receiver Function Dataset for "Lithospheric Seismic Structure of the Anatolian Plate and Its Implications for Plateau Uplift: Evidence From Joint Inversion of Receiver Functions and Surface Waves"

This repository contains the supplementary receiver function data and waveform comparison plots associated with the publication "Lithospheric Seismic Structure of the Anatolian Plate and Its Implications for Plateau Uplift: Evidence From Joint Inversion of Receiver Functions and Surface Waves". Repository Structure & Contents Rfs_after_grouping: This folder contains grouped receiver functions from 486 seismic stations. The data have been binned based on their respective back-azimuths and ray parameters to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio. Receiver function names are formatted as "[station]_[central back azimuth]_[central ray parameter]_a[Gaussian factor].sac". Rfs_Plots: This folder contains comparison plots for each station. These figures overlay the observed, grouped receiver functions (blue) against the corresponding synthetic receiver functions (red) predicted by our 1-D velocity models. Above each subplot, the number of receiver functions is in parentheses, followed by backazimuth and ray parameter ranges. Upper and lower receiver functions in each subplot are calculated using Gaussian filters of 2.5 and 1.0, respectively. Gray shading is the one sigma confidence interval of the observed data in each bin.
