WORLD-CCARG Global Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change 2008-2012

The WORLD Policy Analysis Center (WORLD) is committed to improving the quantity and quality of globally comparative data available to policymakers, citizens, civil society, and researchers on laws and policies that work to support human rights, including economic opportunity, social and civic engagement, human health, development, well-being, and equity. The WORLD-CCARG Global Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change 2008-2012 dataset was created in partnership with McGill University’s Climate Change and Adaptation Research Group. This dataset was created to assess countries' efforts to identify and address the vulnerabilities associated with climate change through a systematic review of UNFCCC reports across 117 countries that submitted reports between 2008 and 2012. The dataset covers the types of climate events, types of responses countries have undertaken to increase resilience and the types of actors involved in planning, designing, and implementing adaptation.
