Transcriptome profiles of Fragaria vesca fruit interacting with Botrytis cinerea at different ripening stages

In the present study, the transcriptome profile of the unripe white and ripe red fruits of woodland strawberry (Fragaria vesca) inoculated with B. cinerea were analyzed in an attempt to elucidate the innate resistance of strawberry to pathogen attack. Taking advantage of the RNA-Seq technology, an overview of the gene expression variation in the unripe and ripe fruit stages is highlighted.
