资源简介:
Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) are primary cells that form an inner layer of blood vessels. They play a crucial role during haemostasis and inflammation. Endothelial cells maintain a barrier between the blood and underlying tissues and prevent blood coagulation in quiescent conditions. Upon activation, they actively regulate their properties and the surrounding environment to support thrombotic and inflammatory processes. However, because of their high heterogeneity it is difficult to assess their exact transcriptome. Here, we use high sensitive approach based on mRNA sequencing profiling to determine an exact gene expression in HUVECs. We compare two batches of self-prepared HUVECs and one commercially available batch from PromoCell. Our data show for the first time the expression profile of all genes expressed in HUVECs, which provide important information for researchers working with endothelial cells. Moreover, our data demonstrate a high reproducibility of level of gene expression in different batches of HUVECs.
