These are printed copies of documents of equity cases on appeal to the Full Court of the Supreme Court, High Court of Australia and the Privy Council. They are the copies kept by the Supreme Court - Equity Division and are arranged in registered number order of equity case file. The books include preliminary papers lodged for the appeal, transcripts of the court hearings and exhibits produced in evidence for the plaintiff and defendant, judgment and decree of equity suit. There is an index to documents at the beginning of each appeal book, showing number, description of document, date and page.
