People in an Industrial Cheese Production Environment

This dataset contains images of people working in an industrial cheese production environment.The images were collected in real operational conditions inside dairy processing facilitiesand are intended for research in computer vision and machine learning applications relatedto industrial monitoring and food safety.The dataset focuses on the detection and analysis of human presence in food productionareas and was created to support the development and evaluation of vision-based systemsfor automated monitoring in industrial environments.Images were captured in production areas where workers interact with equipment andprocessing lines used for the manufacturing of dairy products, particularly cheese.The dataset includes variations in lighting conditions, worker positions, occlusions,and typical industrial background elements such as machinery, processing lines,containers and stainless steel equipment.This dataset was created as part of the research project:"Automated Monitoring of Personal Protective Equipment Usage using Computer Visionand Transfer Learning in Dairy Production Plants"conducted within the Master's Program in Computer Science at Universidad Austral de Chile.The dataset can be used for tasks such as:- Person detection- Industrial environment perception- Dataset pretraining for safety monitoring- Transfer learning for industrial computer vision- Human activity presence detection in production facilitiesFile format:Images are provided in compressed ZIP format.Potential applications include:- Automated monitoring of workers in food production environments- Computer vision models for industrial automation- Safety and compliance monitoring systems- Research in machine learning applied to food processing plants
