Site Data from an Excavation at Newquay Community Orchard, Newquay, Cornwall, October - November 2024

This collection comprises of images, site documents and records, including spreadsheet data, from an excavation at Newquay Community Orchard, Newquay, Cornwall. Work was undertaken by Red River Archaeology over 2 phases in October and November 2024, in advance of the construction of a number of buildings within the site. No archaeological features or finds were found during the excavation of the three areas. One of the areas contained the remains of a car park likely dating to the early 2000s. Another area contained evidence of a geo-technical investigation pit and a recently installed mains water supply pipe.
