资源简介:
This dataset is associated with the figures in this publication : Weak cooling from global wetland loss driven by methane emission decline and CO2 trade-offs.Data A.As shown in Fig. 1, this part provides the annual global trends of wetland CH₄ emissions and CO₂ uptake for the period 1901–2020 (units: Tg C yr⁻¹). It also includes radiative forcing (RF) (units: W m⁻2) estimates derived from the cumulative CH₄ emissions, CO₂ uptake, and their net balance over the same period.Data B.As shown in Fig. 2, this part includes the changes in RF under the transient scenario with wetland loss (S0) relative to the counterfactual scenario without wetland loss under transient climate conditions (S1). The annual component changes in RF (ΔRF, units: W m-2) are separated into three parts: reductions in cumulative wetland CH4 emissions (ΔRF_wet CH4), reductions in CO2 uptake (ΔRF_wet CO2), and additional GHG emissions (CO2, CH4, and N2O) from converted wetlands (ΔRF_wet conversion GHG).Data C.As shown in Fig. 3, this part includes changes in RF under the transient scenario with transient climate (S0) relative to the counterfactual scenario with wetland loss under fixed climate conditions (S2). Component RF changes (ΔRF) from wetland CH4 emissions, CO2 uptake (NEE), and rice CH4 emissions, together with decadal mean changes in GHG emission fluxes (Tg C per decade) attributable to climate, are provided.Data D.As shown in Fig. 4, this dataset includes cumulative RF contributions from wetland CH4 emissions, wetland NEE, GHG emissions from converted wetlands, and their total RF under four scenarios, provided by scenarios.
