Eco-cartographic studies of the coast comprise a series of studies of maritime engineering and marine environment ecology. The Eco-Cartographic Studies of the Litoral are owned by the General Directorate of Sustainability of the Coast and the Sea, belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA). The themes of the study are: Bathymetric studies, Zero Line, Seabed Morphology, Beach Classification, Marine Sediments, Marine Biological Studies, Water Quality, Natural Heritage and Land Use Plan of the Coastal Strip.
