Trend Questions Corona (Week 14/2020)

On behalf of the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government, the opinion research institute forsa has regularly carried out representative population surveys on the subject of the ´Corona crisis´ (COVID-19) starting in calendar week 12/2020. The individual question areas were adjusted according to the survey period.

Topics: worries about one´s own infection with the coronavirus; worries about family members or friends being infected with the coronavirus; worries about infecting other people oneself; other worries in context with the corona virus (open question); self-assessment of the level of information on the following aspects of the current corona crisis: Protection from infection (oneself and others), behaviour in case of infection, measures taken by the Federal Government to stem the spread of the corona virus, everyday life with current restrictions, behaviour in case of symptoms of illness, measures taken by the Federal State to stem the spread of the corona virus; evaluation of current political measures to stem the spread of the corona virus; reasons why the German government´s information on the Corona crisis is assessed as less credible or not credible at all (open question).

Demography: sex; age (grouped); employment; school leaving certificate; net household income (grouped); party preference in the next federal election; voting behaviour in the last federal election.
