Drawings of distances between two adjacent stations on the railway network
收藏资源简介:
Segmentation of the Infrabel rail network by shortest route between two adjacent passenger stations on passenger lines. This list also gives an estimate of the distance. Important notes: If two routes are possible between the two stations, the shortest route has been chosen. It is up to the users to assemble the fragments to obtain the route between two distant stations. In this dataset, for example, you will find the route between ‘Brussels-Midi’ and ‘Brussels-Chapelle’, but not the complete route between ‘Brussels-Midi’ and ‘Arlon’. The purpose of these data is to enable schematic representations of the Belgian rail network (i.e. for a maximum scale of 1/25 000). For a more precise geolocation of the main tracks, we recommend the following dataset List and geographical position of the main tracksSimilarly, a station is far from being positioned on a precise point since the platforms are often several hundred meters long. Distances are therefore more reliable as the fragments are added together to study a longer journey. Finally, these data do not give any indication of the planned or actual timetables, which are managed by rail operators. Historical data on train arrivals and departures at stations are available via our raw punctuality data.
