OPS Dashboard Cases

Aurora Police Department data collecting personnel complaints, allegations, findings, and discipline. This department is managed by the Office of Professional Standards. In an effort to increase transparency with the community, the Aurora Police Department has created an open data portal that shows the department’s closed personnel complaints and outcomes over the past 36 months. While this data was previously available through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) process, we wanted to be more transparent with the community that we serve. The graphs and corresponding data are exported from the department’s software system that the Office of Professional Standards uses to track personnel complaints, use of force incidents, commendations, letters of appreciation, and more. The data represents closed cases within the last 36 months.
