Rate of organ donors per million population in Spain 2023, by region

In 2023, around 48.9 people per million inhabitants in Spain were organ donors. The autonomous community with the highest rate was Cantabria, with 74.1 organ donors per million inhabitants. Navarre and Murcia followed, with an organ donor rate of around 71.6 and 71 donors per million inhabitants, respectively. That same year, around 5,900 organ transplants were performed in Spain.
