Winter cover crop mixtures were exposed to 15N labeling via leaf feeding with 15NO3 and 15NH4 in autumn and spring. Microbial biomass N was determined by extraction with 0.05 M K2SO4 and chloroform fumigation. The 15N enrichment in the microbial biomass N of cover crop root channels and bulk soil was measured on samples taken six weeks after the spring labeling. This table contains the index of all tables forming this data collection.
