In this study, retinal ischemia–reperfusion (IR) models were established in both wild-type (WT) mice and TREM2 knockout (TREM2⁻/⁻) mice. Cervical lymph nodes, which serve as the ocular draining lymph nodes, were then collected from WT control, TREM2⁻/⁻ control, WT IR, and TREM2⁻/⁻ IR mice for bulk RNA sequencing. This analysis aimed to investigate the effects of TREM2 deficiency on retinal and systemic immune responses in the IR model, thereby elucidating the critical role of TREM2 in immune regulation.
