Sediment grain size data from multicores collected during R/V Weatherbird II cruise, North shelf and DeSoto Canyon, February 16 – 22, 2012 (WB-1212)

This dataset reports grain sizes from eight sediment samples collected using multicores during the R/V Weatherbird cruise from February 16th to 22nd, 2012. Grain sizes are reported as percent of the sample for 47 size classes. The percent mud content for each sample is calculated and samples are classified as mud or sandy mud. Results are reported in triplicate for each sample and the average for each sample is included. Samples were analyzed in the laboratory by laser diffraction.
