On a monthly basis, information on electricity generation by channel is compiled from metering data, telemetry data and estimates.
The information on the recorded cost of production refers to an average of all means of production (all sectors combined).
This information is different from the hourly marginal cost of the system, which would correspond first to the variable cost of the most expensive _medium _dispatchable_ started_.
These costs are therefore not comparable in particular to the forward-looking marginal costs published by the CRE.
The time zone of the data is that of metropolitan France (UTC+ 1 in winter/UTC+ 2 in summer).
