Dataset for "The Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Unemployment in Developing Countries: Evidence from Panel ARDL Models"

This dataset contains a panel of macroeconomic, developmental, and financial indicators spanning 90 developing countries over a 25-year period from 2000 to 2024. It serves as the empirical foundation for examining the dual effects of FDI (positive externalities via inward flows vs. potential automation-displacement or market-stealing effects via stock per capita) on total unemployment rates using Panel ARDL (Pooled Mean Group) and System GMM frameworks.
