E-Learning Sustainability Data for 48 Sub-Saharan African Countries (2018-2025)

This dataset contains panel data for 48 Sub-Saharan African countries from 2018 to 2025, used to examine the determinants of sustainable e-learning ecosystem development. The dataset includes indicators for: (1) Technological Infrastructure - internet penetration, mobile subscriptions, electricity access, and fixed broadband subscriptions; (2) Financial Resources - education expenditure as percentage of GDP, GDP per capita, and ICT investment; (3) Human Capital - mean years of schooling, ICT skills index, and tertiary enrollment rates; (4) Institutional Governance - regulatory quality and government effectiveness indices; and (5) E-Learning Sustainability Index. Data were compiled from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), World Bank World Development Indicators, UNESCO Institute for Statistics, and United Nations Development Programme Human Development Reports. The dataset supports PLS-SEM analysis published in the associated research article.
