Digital Archive from an Archaeological Trial Trench Evaluation at 28a Cambridge Street, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, March 2021

This collection comprises the report, photographs, and CAD site plan from an archaeological trial trench evaluation of a proposed development site off Cambridge Street, Wellingborough, undertaken by MOLA Northampton in March 2021 and commissioned by Old England Homes. The evaluation comprised the excavation of two trenches of 5-meter length to an undisturbed natural horizon. A single modern post-medieval ditch was found. The limited results of the site cannot contribute to the regional research framework.
