Guinea pig microbiome profiling following treatment with fulvic acid preparations

We performed 16S rRNA gene (V3-V4) amplicon sequencing of fecal samples from guinea pigs collected at baseline and after 21 days of oral supplementation with fulvic acid-containing formulations to assess their impact on gut microbiota composition and diversity. Paired-end 2x250 bp Illumina reads enable comparisons of alpha and beta diversity and taxonomic shifts relative to controls, including potential enrichment of probiotic-associated taxa and reduction of putative pathobionts. These data provide a resource for understanding microbiome modulation by fulvic acid and support future studies on nutraceutical effects at the host-microbe interface.
