These registers contain a summary record of land sales by auction in the Land District of Narrandera, kept by the Narrandera Lands Office.Crown lands that could be sold at public auction included: conditionally purchased lands that had been deemed to have been abandoned; land that had no conditions for residence or improvement; land that had no improvements done; and land put up for sale at auction that did not sell.The registers record information such as; the date, name, cash book folio, deposits, balances and deed fee, particulars of disbursements and treasury receipt number.These registers also include records for: Land Sales by Selection After Auction; Conditional Land Sales; Leases; Timber Licences and Licences to Quarry Stone; Miscellaneous Accounts of Land Agent; Parchment Forms, Registration Fees and Stamp Duties; and Contingent Receipts.
