Additional data (beyond that included in the supplementary information) supporting the research contained within a publication (Title at point of submission: Ring Opening Metathesis Polymerisation of a New Bio-derived Monomer from Itaconic Anhydride and Furfuryl Alcohol). This publication shows how the reaction of itaconic anhydride and furfuryl alcohol undergo a tandem lactonisation and Diels-Alder addition to form a novel oxanorbornene product. This dataset includes additional raw analytical data for the above reaction, including x-ray crystallography, NMR spectra and MS. The dataset also includes additional raw analytical data for the polymers produced from the above product following esterification and ring-opening metathesis polymerisation.
