Éléments de géométrie algébrique (EGA): Canonical French and Standalone English Editions

EGA II printed p.36 / standalone-English R204 identity checkpoint. This same-concept successor maintains exactly two independent cumulative editions. The canonical diplomatic French reader and master are admitted through EGA II printed p.36. The independent standalone English EGA 0-IV source was rechecked sentence by sentence for p.36. French and English retain separate masters, sources, manifests, QA, and reversible ledgers; there is no bilingual, paired, parallel, side-by-side, interleaved, or combined reader. Printed p.36 contains Corollaries 2.5.15 and 2.5.16, Proposition 2.5.17, the section 2.6 heading, 2.6.1, and the opening of 2.6.2. The twist/sheaf identity, Veronese localization, restricted tensor isomorphism, Gamma-star construction, and left exactness assertion are coherent; no authorial mathematical error was found on this page. The 3,936-byte French append has an exact truncation inverse and retains the diplomatic canoni-/quement page seam. Only a ten-byte temporary environment closure follows the printed text. The corrected standalone French reader has 168 A4 pages; fixed-source-date passes two and three are byte-identical, and the terminal page passed bounded visual and native-text QA. F36 binds the complete admitted French source tree and authority witnesses. The standalone English p.36 comparison found no necessary source change. Every audited twist, localization, Veronese, tensor, Gamma-star, and left-exactness claim already matches the French and is mathematically precise. R204 is therefore an exact 127-file identity successor to R203, and the independent 1,345-page English reader is retained without rebuild. The release preserves the direct-NUMDAM EGA I p.121 unprimed-g correction and the p.119 control clarification, with exact inverses and append-only superseders. The current referral snapshot has no pending finding. The semantic scaffold is non-reader indexing metadata only and does not join the two reading orders. Source-neutral CP1252 diagnostic and pre-seal log-placement recoveries are retained explicitly; neither affected accepted source, reader, authority, or semantic bytes. This checkpoint is not completion of the canonical French EGA 0-IV corpus. Deligne, SGA, FAC, and GAGA remain outside scope. Earlier public versions and all inherited files remain immutable historical evidence. After verified publication, the next French cursor is printed p.37, beginning with the continuation quement.
