A moored Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler measured current velocity as a part of operations conducted in the northern Gulf of Mexico, in Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) lease block GC600. Data were collected from 2012-04-15 to 2015-04-21. The ADCP was moored at 27.375483°N, -90.5138°E in 1382 m of water to measure velocities at the bottom of a sediment trap. Sediment trap contents can be found in related datasets under GRIIDC Unique Dataset Identifiers (UDIs): R4.x268.000:0053 (https://doi.org/10.7266/N7JW8BXM), R4.x268.000:0054 (doi: 10.7266/N7CR5RQT), R4.x268.000:0055 (https://doi.org/10.7266/N7VT1QGS), and R4.x268.000:0056 (https://doi.org/10.7266/N7BR8QKF).
