Malaspina Expedition 2010 bathypelagic metagenomes
收藏资源简介:
The Malaspina Expedition 2010 (http://www.expedicionmalaspina.es; Duarte 2015, Limnology and Oceanography Bulletin) was a global multidisciplinary oceanographic survey that took place from December 2010 to July 2011 on board the R/V Hesperides. The cruise started and ended in the southern Iberian Peninsula and crossed the tropical and sub-tropical Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans from West to East, collecting samples from surface up to 4000 m deep, with special emphasis in the dark ocean. This umbrella study gathers 58 metagenomes from the global bathypelagic ocean (average depth: 3731 m +/- 495; standard deviation) sequenced at the U.S. Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute, supported by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy under Contract No. DE-AC02 05CH11231 (CSP 612 “Microbial metagenomics and transcriptomics from a global deep-ocean expedition”, PI: Silvia G. Acinas)
