This study was aimed to reveal the molecular responses of different tissues (leaves, sap, and roots) of papaya plants submitted to drought stress. This study would allow a better comprehension of papaya plant molecular responses to drought, the discovery of genes with biotechnological potential for the improvement of papaya plant crop, and a source of information for breeding programs.
