资源简介:
There are numerous constructs that tap into aspects of energetic well-being, such as vitality, vigor, fatigue, exhaustion, ego-depletion etc. Due to disintegrated research efforts it is not clear to what extent these concepts overlap in content vs. capture unique aspects of energetic well-being. At present, there is no integrative empirical research focusing on the within-person level of analysis. In this study we set out to examine the structure underlying the most common measures of energetic well-being. We refer to state measures of energetic well-being, because a large portion of research on energetic well-being applies experience sampling methodology. We examine the extent to which all measures reflect one underlying general factor. We compare a higher-order general factor model to alternative structures, such as a higher-order two-factor model and a bi-factor model reflecting positive vs. negative descriptions of energetic well-being. 140 individuals have registered for this study. We conduct an experience sampling study across 10 days with surveys in the morning before starting work, at noon in the lunch break, in the afternoon upon leaving work, and at bedtime shortly before going to bed. We will capture most of the focal variables in the morning survey. We capture emotional work fatigue in the afternoon after work. unknown other
