Comparison of microbial community within open water wetland biomat undergoing sediment intrusion or desiccation

This BioProject contains samples from two different disruptions to the biomat of an open water wetland. Mature and nascent samples were collected during colonization and normal operation of a wetland. Post-flood samples were collected following sediment intrusion caused by a flood event. Desiccated sample was collected following a mature wetland being naturally air dried prior to planned maintenance and rehydrated samples were collected following rehydration at lab scale. Fresh biomat was collected from a mature system during normal operation.
