The data pertains to continued efforts after "Clay nanotube Pickering emulsions for oil spill bioremediation and catalytic formulations" at Louisiana Tech University in Nano-assembly research group. The experiments and data are performed and collected, respectively at the Institute for Micromanufacturing located within the university. It expands the application of silane-modified halloysite nanotubes in oil spill bioremediation by encapsulating active hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria inside 1-2 mm large clay marbles and forming a small microcosm of biological activity inside the marbles. The dried marbles are available to be applied to an oil spill at a later date.
