DIPLOMATIC ETIQUETTE AS A TOOL OF EFFECTIVE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION

Diplomatic etiquette is a basic tool for making effective communication among states in an international form. It thus includes formal rules, traditions and behavioral norms that orient diplomats in the context of meetings, negotiations or multilateral events. This is especially true for diplomacy, where proper etiquette can help promote clarity and respect between parties and facilitate professional settings while minimizing risks of misunderstanding or friction. Having knowledge about proper and efficient diplomatic etiquette is vital among diplomats because of the increasing globalization and intercultural communication between different cultures. This study explores diplomatic etiquette as a tool underlying effective communication in modern international relations.
