Whole Genome Sequencing of nontuberculous mycobacteria from heater-cooler units

Heater-cooler units are devices that are used in surgeries to temperate the blood of the patient. Previous studies have shown that such devices can be contaminated with mycobacteria which then can lead to infections of the patient with negative outcomes years after the surgery. The data in this project represent results from quality control studies made at the University Hospital in Basel, Switzerland.
